Professional Artist , Art entrepreneur and Art Studio administrator cum finance controller and a Mother.
A graduate from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 1996 and from the University of Central England in Birmingham with BA (Hons) in 2001. I am versatile in using different mediums like oil, acrylic, charcoal,watercolor, pencil and mixed medium. My professional training in both Fine Art and Interior Design has provided me the ability to create ambiguous space relationship in the abstract patterns of my paintings. My painting style incorporates bold and decisive painting knife strokes with delicate pattern and colors.
In 2009, I had my 1st Solo Exhibition "Life Moments – Bliss" at Fill-Your-Walls Gallery and participated in various group shows in the earlier days. While working as an interior designer, I continued to participate in art activities and was awarded recognition from the Philip Morris Asean Art Competition in 1998 and Singapore Art Exhibition in 1995. An important contributing factor to my artistic career was a year (2004 -2005) of traveling to various parts of China from Beijing to Tibet. During that same year, I lectured at the University of Inner Mongolia School of Design, before deciding to pursue an artistic career on a full-time basis upon returning to Singapore. I am presently a partner of My Art Space Studio and Art Entrepreneur running an e commerce business and other Investment Business since 2011.
